Marinwood Pool FAQs

Do non-swimmers still need to pay?
Yes, everyone must pay an entrance fee. Children under 12 months of age are free. 

Are there requirements for children to swim in the pool?
Unattended children in the pool, under the age of 14, must pass a swim test, uninterrupted swim of 25 yards, to swim in the deep end or be eligible to go on the waterslides. If a child is wearing a life jacket, an adult guardian must be within arms reach of the swimmer in all areas of the pool. Children six years and younger may swim in the tot pool. 

What are the requirements to go on the waterslides?
Children under the age of 14 must pass a swim test, uninterrupted swim of 25 yards, to swim unattended in the deep end or be eligible to go on the waterslides. Please check the pool schedule for the water slide availability. 

Can we bring food and drinks into the pool?
Yes, both are allowed. Glass containers and alcohol are not allowed. 

Do you sell concessions?
Yes, we sell various snacks, ice creams and drinks at the front desk. 

Do you provide life jackets?
Yes, lifejackets are available on a first come, first serve basis. You are welcome to bring your own lifejakcet, however it must be US Coast Guard approved. If a child is wearing a life jacket, an adult guardian must be within arms reach of the swimmer.

Can my child wear floaties?
Only US Coast Guard approved floatation devices are permitted. Inflatable floatation devices are not allowed (no water wings or infant inflatable rafts).

Can you wear masks, snorkels, fins or goggles?
Goggles are allowed. Full face swim masks, fins or snorkles are not allowed during recreation swim. Adults may wear snorkels and masks during lap swim times. 

Can diapers be worn in the pool?
Swim diapers are allowed and encouraged. You may purchase disposable or reusable swim diapers at the front desk.

Can we bring pool toys like noodles, balls, etc.?
No toys, inflatables or dive toys are allowed in the main pool.
