Jump into jazz music this summer with a vibrant jazz camp at Miller Creek Middle School! Students will have the opportunity to work with local jazz professionals to improve skills on their individual instruments while exploring jazz, blues, funk and rock music. Players will be exposed to jazz masters, composition, and improvisation. They will be divided into small combo groups of comparable skill levels, and rotated among the instructors to focus on woodwinds, brass and rhythm section skills. At the end of each week, students will perform live for parents and friends.
