Parks & Open Space:

Marinwood CSD has two well-maintained public parks, Marinwood Community Park on Miller Creek Road, where the Fire Station, Community Center and Pool are located, and Creekside Park in Lucas Valley Estates:

Marinwood Community Park

• Community Park Playground, including tot and youth areas
• Las Gallinas Mini-Park tot lot
• Barbecues and picnic tables
• Group picnic areas
• Hiking along Miller Creek and on Church Hill
• Public restroom

Creekside Park

• Tot and youth playgrounds
• Tennis court

In addition to the parks, Marinwood CSD owns over 800 acres of open space, including much of the Miller Creek corridor and the ridges overlooking the community, and Blackstone Canyon. The proximity to open space contributes much to the character of the community. The open space affords many opportunities for hiking on its fire roads and trails.

The Park staff also maintains street landscaping, including the Miller Creek Road and Blackstone Drive center medians, the landscaped berms in Lucas Valley Estates, and the pedestrian lanes connecting many of Marinwood’s streets.
