Lifeguard Training 
American Red Cross Lifeguard Training is the course you need to become a certified lifeguard. Participants who successfully complete this course will become certified in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for Lifeguards, and First Aid. Prerequisites:  Participants must be 15 years old by or on the last day of class; participants must pass a 3-part pre-course swimming test administered on the first day of class:  pt. 1) 300-yard continuous swim (not timed); pt. 2) 20-yard swim, retrieval of 10lb. object from 7ft. depth, swim with object 20 yds., exit pool at side (1:40 time limit);  pt. 3) treading water with legs only (2  min.).  Please bring a lunch, a towel, and appropriate clothing for quick transitions between the pool and classroom.  Please select from any of the 6 course options below. Course fee: $325


Lifeguard Review & Re-certification Class 

This course is for lifeguards who need to become re-certified but do not want to retake the full Lifeguarding course. This course consists of a classroom review, hands-on skill practice, a final skill test, and final written exam. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive updated certification cards for Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED for Lifeguards. Please come prepared; passing the course is not a guarantee. Textbooks are available for purchase ahead of time and at class. Please bring a towel, a lunch, and appropriate clothing for quick transitions the pool and classroom. Please bring copies of your most recent certification cards to class. Pre-requisites: To be eligible, participants must possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification card.
