Jazz Combo

Student Jazz Combos will rehearse classic jazz standards, as well as blues, rock and funk. Students will compose their own original tunes, and even learn to play their favorite tunes from the radio or their iPod playlist. At the end of the eight day session, students will perform live at the Fillmore Jazz Festival.

Mike Schulist has instructed Science and Jazz Combos at Miller Creek Middle School for the last 18 years. His combos have performed all over Marin County and recorded ten CD’s in the studio.
