About Us: Board of Directors
Bruce Anderson
I have been a resident of Marinwood for 21 years and have been on the Board of Directors for 4 years. I am community activist and wanted to be on the Board to make a positive contribution to the growth and well-being of Marinwood.
Cyane Dandridge
I have been a resident of Marinwood for 9 ½ years. I am the Executive Director and President of Strategic Energy Innovations (SEI), a non-profit organization dedicated to community and business empowerment around energy issues. I am especially interested in helping communities build and sustain their own policies for clean energy, green buildings, and energy efficiency. The reason I decided I wanted to be on the Board is because I love the Marinwood community and I would like to try to help it remain a wonderful place for many generations to come.
Bill Hansell
I have been a resident of Marinwood since 2004 and I have been on the Board of Directors since 2006. I am lead architect for my architectural firm, Hansell Design. My wife Ursula is a nurse at CPMC and my son Will attends Dixie Elementary School. I come from a family that places a high value on public service, and I reflect that value in my own life. I joined the Board of Directors to make my contribution to the Marinwood Community, where my interests are working to strengthen the community identity, especially through visual design elements, and to maintain the Community Service District’s infrastructure. I am also a Community Representative involved in the Marinwood Village Concept Plan process, and I am active in Dixie Schools and youth sports activities.
David Mitchell
I have been a resident of Marinwood since 1974 and have been a Board Member since 1983. I "retired" in 2000 but have since collected two part-time jobs. I consult for Chevron on alternate energy technology and work as a flight instructor at a flight school in Petaluma. I joined the CSD Board around the time of Proposition 13 when the CSD suffered severe budget cutbacks and was struggling to maintain programs. The continued operation of the pool was in question at the time and I wanted to do what I could keep it viable - at that time I was also President of the Waterdevils. I've continued because I felt I could make a difference in ensuring that the local services that the CSD provides: fire, recreation and parks would continue and would adapt and grow as the community changed. I'm proud of what we've achieved over the years. Also, I've always enjoyed being involved in local activities: Waterdevils and Dixie Soccer when my children were young and more recently the Shopping Center and Lions.

I’m not a native but I got here as fast as I could! I’ve been in Marinwood since 1992 and can’t imagine living anywhere else. I’m a solo attorney doing general practice from home; I even make house calls. I love the flexibility inherent in how I work—breaks are in my garden playing with my pup and my commute takes five seconds. I get to do good work for fine people who pay me enough to let me do pro bono whenever I want. I wanted to be on the Board because I believe everyone should do something for their community and this is the perfect fit for me. With my background in finance and taxation (Masters of Tax Law, BA in Economics), I felt that I could help the District communicate its fiscal policies to the folks who provide the money—the taxpayers of Marinwood.
