Earth Heroes
Have a budding environmentalist, biologist, or nature lover? In this specialty camp, children will train to become earth heroes! Fun activities, games, nature walks, and zero-waste crafts are used to teach the essential 5 R's (refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle and rot/compost). Campers are encouraged to implement the 5 R's in their daily lives and consider how their actions help keep the planet healthy. Instructor: Lisa Clarke

Video Game Design & Command-Line Coding with Minecraft!
Imagine being able to construct a glass dome for your Minecraft Hunger Games Map or Mob Arena with a single line of code. We'll learn to use WorldEdit's powerful command-line code to make designing epic maps faster and even more fun. If your're interested in coding but don't know where to start, this is the camp for you!

Learn what it takes to make epic Minecraft videos for YouTube like TheDiamondMinecart, CaptainSparklez, Stampy, and more! Whether you want to make a "Let's Play" video, a funny skit, a build battle, or something even cooler, you'll have the tools and expert help needed to make your dreams a reality! And all the while we'll learn about internet safety so that when class is over, we can upload your video to YouTube!

Action Movie Flix
Adventure awaits you in these high intensity movies, where you'll use a green screen, camera tricks, and special effects to create your own live-action movie. You'll collaborate to write, act and direct in this stunt packed movie where you'll be taught action choreography to thrill the audience.

Minecraft vs Roblox Flix
Make a Minecraft movie, or make a Roblox movie, or make a mashup movie! Choose Minecraft or Roblox action figures to create a movie full of games or challenges for your character to overcome. In this stop-motion movie making class, you'll work in small groups to create and voice-over your movies.

Lego Flix
Bring Lego worlds to life! We provide the Legos. You provide the imagination. Work in groups to create a Lego set with Lego characters for a stop-motion movie you'll storyboard, shoot, and add vocie-overs to.

Play-well Teknologies Camps
Play-Well Teknologies Robotics using the LEGO EV3 System
Build and program robots using the new LEGO Mindstorms EV3 System. Learn about mechanical and software design, loops, conditional statements, problem solving, and teamwork skills. Work in small groups, program and build your robot, and rise to the challenge. Control the robot to avoid obstacles, pick up and carry objects, and play sounds. Projects are structured so that students work in an open-ended, investigative environment while having fun.

Play-Well Teknologies STEM Fundamentals with LEGO Materials
Refine your construction skills as you tinker with Play-Well Teknologies and tens of thousands of LEGO parts. Apply real world concepts through projects such as: chugging steamboats, customized cuckoo clocks, and historic Wright Flyers. Design and build as never before and explore your craziest ideas.
